With the intention of having a single engineering entrance examination and reducing the stress levels of students, India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development has introduced the ISEET, which replaces all engineering entrance exams including the IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination) and the AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination). The ISEET has two parts, Main and Advanced.
While ISEET-Main is an objective type exam aimed at testing the student’s critical thinking, logical reasoning and comprehension skills, the ISEET-Advanced tests the problem solving abilities in the basic science subjects. Put together, they are an indicator of the candidate’s aptitude for engineering and science.
Mathematics For JEE/ISEET: Calculus helps an engineering college aspirant to develop their attitude and aptitude for the challenging field of engineering. It also helps in strengthening their conceptual understanding of the subject and gain a thorough understanding of its application in the real world. The huge bank of questions and the question papers of the previous years’ IIT-JEE, along with their detailed solutions familiarize the student with the kind of questions and their difficulty level that can be expected to be a part of the ISEET. Additionally, it also provides a conceptual understanding of the subject. The book includes different types of questions like Reasoning type, Objective type, Integer Type and Multiple Correct Answers questions.
The topics related to Continuity and Differentiability, Monotonicity and Maxima-Minima of Functions, Differential Equation, Definite and Indefinite Integration have been explained with detailed illustrations and explanations.
