Dr. N. Vyas:  N. Vyas is an MSc in Biomedical Sciences from Delhi University (ACBR) and has done his PhD in Immunology from Germany. He has been awarded CSIR Junior Research Fellowship by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India. He was selected through a nationwide exam National Eligibility Test (NET), jointly conducted by CSIR and UGC in 2009 with all India Rank 24th. He has received call for prestigious Shayama Prasad Mukerjee award three times which is given to top thirty Master’s students of India. He was awarded CSIR Catch them young Fellowship from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India in 2009 and 2010.


Brijesh Pandey:  By qualification, he is an electronics engineer; by profession, he is a verbal aptitude trainer. He had consistently scored 99 plus percentile in the verbal section when CAT (Common Admission Test) was in the paper-pencil format. Apart from teaching verbal aptitude, he also designs questions on a variety of topics; most of the questions displayed on this website have been designed by him; being fond of movies, books and documentaries, he often suggests unique and interesting ways by which students can develop their knowledge about myriads of things.


Rakesh Vishwakarma:  An IT (Information Technology) engineer from NIT, Raipur and an MBA from Department of Pune University, Rakesh has been a quantitative aptitude trainer for the past 9 years and has worked with organizations such as PT and Career Launcher; he has the knack of teaching multiple concepts through just one question; many of the questions on this website have been designed by him; he has been getting 99 plus percentile in the CAT (Common Admission Test) for the past four years and has been getting calls from the prestigious IIMs. Apart from teaching quantitative aptitude, he is very fond of coding and programming.

About: The Joint Admission test for Masters (JAM) is an initiative by the IIT. It is an entrance test required to get admissions for M.Sc. and all other Masters courses post B.Sc programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and various other national institutions in India. The objective of JAM is to provide admissions to M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-M.S.(Research)/Ph.D. Dual Degree, and other Post-Bachelor’s Degree Programmes at the IITs and Integrated Ph.D. Degree Programmes at IISc and many other institutions to consolidate Science as a career option for bright students from across the country. From the Academic Session of 2004, the IITs have started conducting this exam for various M.Sc and PhD courses such as Integrated PhD based on the performance in a single test. Admission to most of the Academic Programs at various institutes is done on the basis of merit in JAM. Interviews may be conducted as per the course requirement and at the discretion of the admission committee of the institution. The admission for a few programmes at IISc, IITB, and IITK are done through interviews. Also candidates who have completed their Graduation through Distance Learning and applying for Masters need to appear for the interviews at IIT Madras. The Entrance exam is conducted ONLINE ONLY as a Computer Based Test (CBT). All questions are objective type, with three different patterns of questions, namely (i) multiple choice questions (MCQ), (ii) multiple select questions (MSQ), and (iii) numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
