A well-known coaching class in Kota has split, with seven departmental heads submitting their resignations and starting a coaching academy of their own overnight.
The seven HoDs of Bansal Classes quietly retired for the day on Friday but an advertisement in a local newspaper on Saturday gave students and the coaching class community the wind of what had happened. The advertisement read that “the team which taught numerous top-rankers of IIT-JEE’’ had gone on to form its own venture, the Vibrant Academy. Some of the teachers who have decided to move away from Bansal Classes have been longtimers on the rolls; physics teacher Nitin Jain (popularly called Ninja), for instance, has been employed with this class for close to a decade and a half.
Chemistry teacher Mahendra Singh Chouhan, now a part of the new Vibrant Academy, said: “We have received 4,000 applications from IIT aspirants wanting to join us.’’ Chouhan said some “internal matter’’ compelled them to walk out of Bansal. Insiders, however, said faculty members’ compensation packages were reworked from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 20 lakh after there was some problem with the I-T department. Wellknown competitive coaching classes are also known to pay a portion of the salary to senior faculty by cash besides the cheque component.
The news of what unfolded spread like wild fire and students pressed the panic button with the crucial IIT-JEE just a month away. Coaching classes in Mumbai saw IIT aspirants coming back to enrol for a month. Pravin Tyagi, owner of a coaching class here, said: “Students and their parents were so disturbed and angry with what happened. Some students who had enrolled in Bansal’s signed up with our class.’’
“The seven who have left teach topclass students and so lot of students are worried,’’ a parent said. Founder V K Bansal did call all the students in the evening to assure them that they would continue to get the best training, but students were confused.
Close to 17,000 students enrol at Bansal each year and there are 30 batches that function exclusively for IIT coaching. Bansal Classes CEO P K Bansal downplayed the situation said he was prepared for a situation like this. He added that his seven HoDs “vanished’’ without giving a prior notice though a term in their contract stated that they had to give a month’s notice before quitting.

yeah, i could only star bout the teachers and study material bcoz my bother (who is in iit bombay) loved them. by the way i’ve recently came in 11th and have given the entrance test for both bansl n vib but i’m so confused plz plz help me out with this whole ‘WHICH-COACHING-WHICH-TEACHER-THING’ mess.

believe yourself bcoz whatever you see is not always truth and trustable
v.a. has given results in 2010 bcz top students of bansal classes was with them.otherwise the faculty has .1% role in selections.It is student’s work that matters.Also the faculty of V.A. is not so good.They have knowledge BUT dont know how to express it to students.They CAN’T produce results fro medium students.Also the batches are expanded therefore new faculty will be coming and we can’t comment on them weather they will be good or bad.
vibrant academy as per the faculty is the best i have ever seen
the faculty is best as compared to any other iit coaching institute in India. VG SIR, the GOD of mathematics is one of the founders of vibrant. also msc sir, ninja sir, nks sir, pj sir, sodium sir nd vkj sir are good.
No doubt Vibrant started on strong base by virtue of 7 HOD’S,and definitely they are best in their respective subjects. But now their focus seems to be on no of students, i.e now they are not taking classes of X1th and the new teachers they have appointed are not best specifically in maths.They are focusing on top batches and this is emotional atyachar on students and parents who got admission in Vibrant due to their reputation.Students are discouraged from asking questions and doubts and even doubt clearing faculty is very bad.When they are charging same from every student than why they ,like all institutes, focusing on top batches.Money matters but morality also

vibrant academy is the worst of all coaching institute in kota, students in very first year suffered a lot. the teachers have not paid any attention weather the student is able to understand or not, they only completed their portion. they too are rude with the students bec. it is in their nature as they were in bansal.so if u really want to built ur future avoid vibrant academy. it’s a havoc.
the team who found va is best in only kota but all over india.they are good in all department.the environment of class room is very energatic,parently,friendly.their faculty is very standered it is seen by their entrance test for mega.va is much better than bansal classes.

*Four* reasons why Vibrant Academy is the best:
–1. The best faculty of Bansal Classes(formerly the best institute) is now split and is in Vibrant.
i.) MSC sir–Organic Chemistry–authored a quality problem book on the subject (meant for toppers)–Tought the best batches in Bansal–very friendly and intresting classes–very patient listener and teacher–expert in mechanisms through Thermodynamics and Kinetics.
ii.) NA sir–Physical Chemistry–Former HOD, Bansal–co-authored a quality problem book on Physical and Inorganic Chemistry (again meant for toppers)–Leaves no doubts on the subject–expert in Thermodynamics, Ionic equilibrium, Electrochemistry.
iii.) VKJ sir–Inorganic Chemistry–Former HOD, Bansal–Stresses on concepts and tells mnemonics–co-authored problem book with NA sir–Expert in Molecular Orbital theory, Salt analysis.
iv.) NJ sir–Physics–Former HOD, Bansal–Very professional teacher–Qualified the International Physics Olympiad–14 years of experience–Focusses on quality problems from Irodov and Krotov–Expert in Mechanics, Waves and Oscillations, Electrosatics and Current Electricity.
v.) NKS sir–Physics–almost same as NJ sir, though average students find themselves more comfortable with NKS sir.
vi.) VG sir–Math–The only teacher of math more intelligent than Bansal sir himself ,he’s the best–expert in math as whole.
–2. The study material is the class notes plus question bank plus daily pracice problems plus chapterwise notes and graded exercise plus carefully designed review tests’ questions.
–3. You will find the staff very friendly for your academic and even *personal* problems.
–4. Lastly, the fees is nominal and at par with Bansal.
*Two* reasons you would prefer Bansal/Others over Vibrant
–1. You failed the entrance test of Vibrant.
–2. If not the above, then perhaps the brand of Bansal/Resonance(through ads) has attracted you.
All are among best lots of teachers. they should maitain the high standad of teaching.for which they shall have to put extra efforts.no doubt they may create history. excellent team.infrastructure does not matter much.only thing they shall have to put extra efforts to achieve their goals.
I forgot one thing in the previous post, at Vibrant there`s the maths giant – V.G. sir, I have personally learned from him (in Bansals` ofcourse) – and believe me, Bansal Classes (or anyone) has not seen a giant like him in its history perhaps. He is highly educated and always carries a punch of tricky maths questions (even i was able to do only a few….those are well above the IIT-JEE ka level but one enjoys) for math hungers and his best aspect is that he catches what you want to say before you complete your sentence….hhmmmm……damn fast…..so maths….which is the toughest of the JEE…..will be no more tough for those who learn from him…..my personal experience although i was not lucky enough to had learned from him throughout my 2 years at Kota. SO MATHS FACULTY BEST IN INDIA – AT VIBRANT NOW!!!!!
Well , it was quite disturbing to know that Bansal Classes got split up with its HODs ,Bansal Sir should have accepted their requests (Money does not matter to you Bansal Sir now!! Does it ? What matters is your name which you have lost , atleast among those who had been in Bansal) As per me , newcomers must join Vibrant NOT BANSAL (Although i am a bansalite , sorry for that) , coz the infrastructure does not matter much , what matters is the tachers and at Vibrant it wont be anymore like Bansals that the low batches get very poor faculty ! Everybody will get the best there . Dont go for the rumours newcomers , join Vibrant if you want to clear IIT JEE with GOOD RANKING WITH LESS EFFORTS. (It is not like i was not able to clear IIT from bansals and am showing off my wrath , i have cleared JEE with considerably good rank. I am telling the truth). And moreover now i know that S. R.`s the HOD of organic at Bansals , man i can`t think at what stakes is Bansal now. (He“s is a mastermind but he pressurises students a lot and does a lot of partiality , he`s rude , does not teach things which are important like “Kinetics Of Reactions” and the most worst of all, till the HOD split , he used to always make a competition with M.S.C. (now in Vibrant) I would like S.R. SIR knowing this. And the thing is when you learn for the firt time from him , you will say , hes the best, even i experienced that , but he isnt , coz MSC has more knoweledge than him AND HE CARES FOR HIS STUDENTS UNLIKE S.R. who cares only for the toppers.) There are no more any good teachers at Bansal Classes except a few like M.K.S. (Great Physics teacher down to earth, has great knoweledge and not RUDE like S.R. i respect him) A.G. (another giant , i respect him as well) and few more, but vibrants full of them .
