I gave the entrance test for VMC as we all knw, it is a very much reputed coaching for IIT, i also got selected. i live in delhi(NCR) for which i considered 3 centres nearby me, my counselling was on third day, when i went for the counselling they told me that all the 3 centres for which i had applied were full……………..next day someone near my house told me that he had got the centre for which i was told that it was full. (his father offered to pay Rs.10,000 more than the fee…….that’s why). This shows that how much money minded and corrupt these people are. THEY SUCK

I am a student of Vidyamandir. I personally feel that people at vmc are really cool and relaxed. Vidyamandir is different from other coaching institutes . Vidyamandir encourages smart work, not dumb hard work. Also vidyamandir course is not fatiguing and maddening like other coachings. I was at Bansal earlier . They do not focus at building a student. They just produce machines. Moreover , most coachings (easpecially those of kota) don’t pay enough attention to their students. Not with vmc. I was in the top batch of bansal once but could not keep up with no teaching and too much coaching. Maybe they produce a few good ranks but many good students are ruined (count me rank-90 , 10th 92.2 % to not even selected in jee) . Vmc rocks !
Also check out vmcs website. Other coachings will bite the dust. Even vmc correspondance is better than bansal , unless you are an exceptional nerd or something (but then you don’t need to do coaching in the first place).

vidyamandir is one of the best coaching centres in delhi. Every year loads of students give its entrance and dream about getting into it. It is the belief that once u r in vidyamandir u’ll surly clear IIT. It has quite experienced teachers and the most intellectual batch to study with. Its an institute where apart from teaching half of the class time is devoted to encourage students to give their best. The students are motivated to a great extent. And it is a very essential part of IIT education. After 10th when students take up science then they find a great leap in what they were studying earlier. Thus students cannot handle the pressure n start performing badly. Thus motivation and encouragement are quite important.
However coming to the study material of the institute. It is not bad. however it is too subjective based. Its still on older pattern. If it could be modified to present objective based test then the institute will see a significant improvement in its results.
