But yaar i don’t like sanjay chauhan..Wo class mein bahut gande gande examples dete hai..And anish sir wo to REGULAR BATCHS ko SRB batches k samne pata nahi kya samjhte hai…Dono batches mein diffrent topics padhate hai aur regualar batches mein bahut topics chod dete hai…Kya regular batchs ko iit beat karne ka haq nahi kya?…

Acc. to me in chemistry Sanjay Sir n Anil Sir really rock! In Physics Aneesh Sir is the best and in Maths Vishnoi’s ki to baat ki kuch aur hain! I love being a part of this institution!

instead of best teachers we are getting we have to run to different blocks which kills our time as well as there is no proper arrangement of seating in G block . sir plz take some necessary actions.

suggestion to sigma mangement
for maths a solution booklet should be provided for each topic
for chemistry
question r sufficient but theory notes are really inadequate
for physics
kindly arrange some teachers for doubt clearance
what is the use of studying if one cannot clear his personal doubts
the present staff is not that helpful as half the time they talk about their achievements
i even remember a day i travelled 20 km to get my doubts clear but anish sir sent me back complaining of headache
the best thing about sigma is the experienced haed staff but when it comes to personnal attention the management fails misrebaly
i would advise that one block should be seprately assigned as doubt clerance block where teachers are available for pcm personal attention everyday

LIBRARY AND TEST SERIES,AND REGULAR DISSCUSION OF TESTS WILL INCREASE NUMBER OF SELECTIONS,ALSO THE WAY IN WHICH TESTS ARE CONDUCTED SHOULD BE CHANGED

there r no pcm test being conducted as promised earlier . there is a request if u pls. conduct a mega test of whatever u have taught from starting this will make students revise in a better manner pls. sir u can conduct it after dussehra holiday …….. that is too compulsary

I like Anish sir, my physics teacher. He helped me to clear my basic funda for physics (specially Mechanics) in year 1999& 2000. I believe his basic lectures on friction and how to play with friction are really fruitful for any normal or below average student. As a student i was with him around 2 years and never asked about a single gold coin from me as tuition fees. I am very thankful to him.
On these days FRICTION playing a vital role in any field either education or business. Most of the companies are not able generate good revenue globally just because of poor business strategy & survival plan. Some are able to generate single gold coin (total revenue.) Just because of his poor ROI (return on investment)
I am very much sure about gold coins, if he allows us for a single chance to work with him. We can return him at leat 4 gold coins with the integrity so that he can easily teach students globally.

vishnoi sir i wanna give you few suggestion chemistry is not going well in sigma because of sanjay chauhan.i do not like him because of his cheap comment on girls.he should be thrown out from sigma.chemistry should be taught only by nirmal and pankaj sir.all other teachers are doing well.i am giving the ranking of teachers in sigma. 1.anurag sir 2.ashish sir 3.nirmal sir 4.anish sir 5.pankaj sir 6.raj sir there is no place for sanjay the sillyman.
Te concept of coaching is utterly worthless and meaningless. The thing one can do with the basic conceptual books cannot be taught in an environment like this so called coaching Institute. The infrastructure of the coachings is pathetic. You never get the Test results on time. they conduct weekly test with monthly results. Seriously, if one is interested in getting into IIT, then he must understand the concepts properly. The notion of “SHEET LAGANA” is wrong and it tends to destroy the originality of a student. IITs do not want hard workers, they need creativity and aesthetic knowledge of science.
One should not think that i have no regards for the teachers. I respect them and i admire their knowledge of their respective subjects (which is quite incomparable). However their teaching methods are not really great. For example, the course is never covered on time. Physics teacher tends to go over the top. Maths teacher is below the level…..
So, in all, it would be an unwise decision to go to coachings to study for your future.
Remember, IIt is not the end of the road, its just the beginning of a new journey.
It is just a conpromise.

I am Prafulla Shukla, 3rd year student of IIT Kanpur.
First of all, I am really very very happy that such thing is actually happening at last in Kanpur, which is assumed to be the biggest coaching hub for JEE preparations. Conduction of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics by diffenent coachings with practically no co-ordination, was one of the basic resons why the results were so bad in JEE for so many years, in spite of the fact that we have THE best teachers for each subjects.
Now coming to the point, the pros and cons of Sigma Classes, I myself have been there to be with my beloved teachers and to vitness how is this working.
Speaking of pros, as I mentioned earlier, it has provided an opportunity to prepare for the ALL THREE SUBJECTS EQUALLY which was not possible at all before.
They say that studying with so many (around 1000) students in a class room is a problem, but that eventually results in the strong feeling of STRONG COMPETITION for those who are really serious for JEE.
I’ve seen the study material they provide for each subject, and I am glad that it could be taken as the BEST POSSIBLE MATERIAL as far as the level and trend of JEE is concerned. The REGULAR TESTS and evaluation exams are pretty useful. Practically , there is NO such NEED OF ANY OTHER test series.
Though there are more subtle positive things about it, but I’ll leave that as they are my personal experiences with respected teachers out their, specially Raj sir.In fact, all of respected teachers are very helpful, it just depends on the person approaching them.
Now,to the possible Difficulties with Sigma, as people are more interested in this. One of the first things that come to my mind is, the SCARCITY OF SUPPORTING TEACHERS for personal doubt solving. On a lighter note,some people find it quiet irritating to be in a long line for a good amount of time,I was no different too.
One more thing that I find wrong there, is the lack of co-ordination amongst different official staffs.It sometimes creates problem for students to get their other problems solved.Also , such a large number of students hinders the personal attention of the teacher on students, but then it’s not a big deal if you are following the classes regularly.
To conclude my review, I’d say, if you are choosing Sigma, then you are probably choosing the best here.I’ve been a student of these teachers for just one year and I know no one could’ve made me better than what I am now.
You get to learn difficult problems in very simplified and understandable terms by Raj sir,for example, and also in very very tricky and yet understandable manner (with some extra effort of course). For chemistry, Pankaj Sir, Nirmal Sir and Sanjay sir are more than sufficient to crack any chemistry exam.Frankly you won’t need even books for Chemistry, if you follow their lectures.(Books are MUST for mathematics and Physics as they require real good practice).
At last, I don’t claim that if you are not here for JEE, you can’t be an IITian,people do it every year without such coachings. But if you are willing to be a part of Sigma and you have “sacchi lagan” to crack it, you’ll find it a lot more easier with Sigma.
i can’t forget ashish and anurag vishonoi thruout my life
i am in iitk only because of them ………they are more than god for me……….i have not words to discribe those two persons………
