The best institute is PI Scholaristic in chandigarh because Magician of chemistry prof RajanKhare is now with pie.The result of Bansal Classes Kota is damaged because khare is not with Bansals.Every chemistry teacher in kota is khare sirs followers even same statement is given by V.K.Bansal sir in my class
the faculty of chemistry is very bad.
they have no consencity in their syllebus.
managment of coching is very bad.
I took coaching of chemistry at Parmar’s Chemistry Classes in Patna. I really loved the way Anil Parmar taught me especially physical chemistry. In Patna at that time very few or I guess no other teacher used to make students solve numericals in class itself. Anil Sir had a very nice idea of asking students to come one hour before the class timing and then we were given 7-8 numericals of physical chemistry to solve. That helped me like anything and I could clear chemistry cut off quite easily though I was very weak at Organic and Inorganic part.
As far as maths is concerned, I studied at Anand Kumar’s coaching centre. It may sound weird as he is a well known teacher but in my opinion his attitude towards teaching isn’t good. I know many students would like to strangle me but that is what I feel. He focuses more on showing his knowledge and publicising himself than teaching useful concepts. He may forget to teach but he wont forget to boast about his achievements.
Now comes the saddest part of my coaching experience…Physics, I joined Bhupesh Kumars coaching centre in Patna. My take on his teaching methodology is that you better sit at home and study rather than attending his classes. He teaches Unit and Dimensions, Force and Vectors for seven to eight months which is simply preposterous. After 7 to 8 months of attending classes you realize that you can solve only three or four chapters of CONCEPT OF PHYSICS by H. C. Verma. That leads to only two things….FRUSTRATION and PANIC.
Yogeh Mishra Classes solely depends only on the name and fame of its founder i.e. Dr Yogesh Mishra, who is a respected mathematics teacher for JEE preparation. Other than this the institute has pretty much nothing to offer. When I was studying there it had some brilliant teachers but I don’t know why but no one stayed there for the complete year and that pretty much sums it up. Teachers come and go year after year, poorly developed study material being reused over years and the teaching pretty much can’t get you selected anywhere and the results prove it year and after. Even Dr. Yogesh Mishra is a complete mystery. If you are really good then only you can benefit from his teaching otherwise ordinary students don’t even stand a chance. So I will just summarize by saying that if you really can’t go anywhere else you might take a chance at YMC.
I took coaching classes at SIGMA at Kakadeo, Kanpur. The teachers were passouts of IITs and had a vast experience in teaching. The main focus of the instructors was to make the student familiar with the problems. Hence, a lot of examples were done in the class itself. The speed of the student in solving the problem was also emphasised and this created a competitive environment.
The strength of the class was about 350 students per class which is quite large as compared to other coaching institutes but still the class was very well managed and the environment was excellent for learning new things. The practise problems were provided by the instructors in form of handouts. We were given a handout almost everyday and it was discussed the other day. Mock tests were conducted from time to time based on the format of JEE.
Our maths teacher Mr. Ashish Vishnoi was outstanding. The way he instructed made things look so easy.
Overall, the coaching is pretty efficient and is getting popular day by day. If you join this, you have a good chance of getting through JEE but the ability to convert that chance into a reality is in you and only you.
I did my coaching from Anish,Pankaj and Vishnoi in Kanpur.
Now they have merged and named themselves as SIGMA Classes for IIT-JEE.
Nice initiative.
