Now-a-days, with the rising level of competition, a wide range of study material is available from various sources in the form of correspondence or classroom courses, IIT guides and books by foreign and Indian authors. For most students this range of choice creates confusion. They try and get hold of all possible study materials and later feel frustrated and utterly disappointed. The best way to prepare is to select the study material only from a single source. A selection from the various courses is an important decision which can be an intelligent investment at this stage for future success.

Vidyamandir Classes_1Vidyamandir Classes (VMCs) is an organisation destined to orient students into correct path to achieve success. The organisation is run by a competitive staff comprising of Ex-IITians. Our goal at VMC is to create an environment that inspires students to recognise and explore their own potentials and build up confidence in themselves.

The growing popularity of Vidyamandir is reflected by the fact that the number of students who approached Vidyamandir for admission exceeded 10,000 for 2007-2008 session. But to maintain quality and to provide satisfaction to every student, we never go beyond our capacity. Actually, it was at Vidyamandir that for the first time (as far back as 1990) students were admitted through an admission test for IITJEE coaching.

Vidyamandir Classes_2Generally, the students who join regular classroom courses feel dissatisfied because of the lack of organised study material. To overcome this problem they run for notes of various correspondence courses. But there exists a lack of coherence between the classroom course and the study material acquired form other sources. therefore a unique proposition was introduced by Vidyamandir Classes. We started providing extensive study material in the form of well-printed assignments prepared by our expert staff. As the students came prepared with the study material, more intense classroom sessions packed with more advanced problems, tips & shortcuts were possible.

In 1994, we took another major step of expansion and introduced the correspondence course for IITJEE – 95. Initially it was a great success among the Delhi students. But, during the years, the fame of our course crossed the boundaries of Delhi and now our correspondence course is becoming popular all over India.

We have also started a totally new and unique course called Final Step (FS). The FINAL STEP was a revision course for IITJEE preparation. It was introduced in 1995 for the first time by VMC people. This scheme was meant only for those selected students who have completed almost entire JEE syllabus and were looking for a strong revision so that all loopholes in the preparations are well plugged. Now this course is merged with our two year Regular Classroom Courses.

Study Material :

While preparing these assignments, our teachers have ensured that the approach is not bookish and the basics are presented in a straight-forward manner which is simple to understand. The study material covers every aspect of each topic and is so self-sufficient that all successful Vidyamandir students have relied solely on the study material provided by us, without consulting any other book or guide. With the changing pattern and syllabus of the IITJEE every year, we bring modifications in our course material.

The course comprises of study material on all the three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in the form of modules. Each module contains chapters, divided into three parts, as explained below.

Detailed Theory Portion :
This part builds up clear ideas and foundation of concepts. This part is similar to the lectures in the regular course. The study material is framed in a very simple and easily understandable language.

Solved Examples & In-Chapter Exercises :
This part illustrates the applicability of the theoretical concepts. Accurate and thorough explanations are essential for all students to understand the applicability of the theory. The examples in our course will help students to bridge the gap between mere cognizance of the general principles and the ability to apply them to concrete problems. Mastery in this respect is the goal of our course. Each step in the solved examples is carefully and systematically described to show students how to attack a particular problem and master the fundamental concepts in all the fields of the three subjects. It helps them learn the problem solving techniques essential to handle questions at JEE.

Problem Sets & Worksheets :
This part covers all typical problems and many other fresh problems based on the latest trends in IITJEE. The problems are related to the study material and the difficulty level is graduated regularly to match the student’s increasing ability.

Classroom Sessions :
At Vidyamandir, teaching is not merely a profession. It is a dedication to produce students who would surely succeed at JEE. Our teachers (all Ex-IITians) stress more on topics, which are most likely to be a part of forthcoming JEE.

A few minutes of classroom coaching at Vidyamandir is equivalent to hours and hours of study work required by the students, otherwise. Difficult concepts are presented in such a form that students find them very simple and easy to comprehend. The study material provided to the students is prepared by the VMC teachers themselves. This ensures a perfect correlation between what is taught in the class and the study material. Test Series :
Two years of arduous preparation culminates into only one day of examination at IITJEE. Many a times most students who are very well prepared for the exams do not perform upto their satisfaction during those hours. The reason for this lies in the fact that even well prepared students lack the Examination Hall temperament. Therefore to prepare students for the final exam, we at Vidyamandir provide a well planned scheme of mock examinations. These examinations are conducted in replica of real examination environment. It was us who first provided this type of scheme in the regular course.

Vidyamandir Classes_5During the course of one term, practice-tests are held for all the students of Vidyamandir. These tests are scheduled regularly over the whole term. These tests consist of questions with balanced level of difficulty. Most of the questions are made by the teachers of VMC. These tests assess the progress made by the students.

A feedback is provided in the form of the detailed analysis on the performance of the students in these tests. This analysis with complete data helps a students to compare himself with the other VMC students.

Admission Procedure :
A prerequisite for joining Regular courses at VMC is clearing an Admission Test.
